Its spacious design provides plenty of room for anglers, fishing equipment, and supplies, making it ideal for lakes, rivers, reservoirs, bays, and protected coastal waters.

Built with premium German Heytex PVC and heavy-duty HEAT-welded seams, the FCB430 is designed for dependable performance. Protective rub strakes help guard against abrasion, while the high-pressure inflatable drop-stitch floor with non-slip EVA traction pad provides a firm, comfortable fishing platform.

Saturn 14' FCB430 Budget Inflatable Boat Specs.

Four factory-installed universal mounting patches accommodate optional Scotty®, Railblaza®, and similar fishing accessories, including rod holders, fish finders, and cup holders. Multiple stainless steel D-rings offer convenient attachment points for fishing gear, coolers, and anchors.

Integrated bow brackets allow installation of an optional electric trolling motor for quiet fishing and precise positioning. A reinforced transom also accommodates compatible gasoline outboard motors.

Unlike traditional aluminum fishing boats, the FCB430 deflates into a compact package for convenient storage and transportation without a trailer. At approximately 101 lbs, it offers the advantages of a full-size fishing boat with the flexibility of an inflatable.

Saturn Budget Inflatable Boats are ideal for ponds, rivers, lakes, bays, and other protected waters. While suitable for calm coastal conditions, their smaller tube diameters make them better suited for sheltered waterways rather than rough seas or offshore boating.

Question: How to install optional keel?

Answer: The FCB boat, built as a flat-bottom model, can be upgraded with an optional do-it-yourself keel system to improve tracking and handling. This modification uses a long semi-rigid insert positioned under the deflated air floor to create a keel-like profile.

Begin by attaching two Velcro retaining straps to the lower interior surface of the hull, directly underneath where the air floor sits. These straps are designed to hold the selected keel insert securely in place. The simplest insert option is a large-diameter foam pool noodle, which can be purchased at common retail stores for a few dollars. Once the air floor is removed, place the foam noodle along the centerline, slide it under the Velcro straps, and reinstall the air floor. When the floor is inflated, the compressed noodle forms a raised center section that mimics the function of an inflatable keel, improving stability and straight-line tracking.

For users requiring additional stiffness, a section of PVC pipe may be inserted inside the foam noodle before installation. This creates a more rigid composite structure. With the Velcro straps holding the assembly firmly beneath the air deck, this DIY modification provides an effective method to enhance the FCB385’s directional control and overall performance. See YouTube video for example of installation on similar type of boat.

Note: Specifications and accessories are subject to change without notice. Max O/B Motor means: maximum power of outboard motor that can be safely used to ride the boat loaded to the maximum capacity at normal water surface conditions. Please exercise common sense and caution when using maximum motor capacity. Do not jump from wave to wave as new 4-stroke motors are much heavier then 2-stroke and provide extra strain on the transom. Under normal circumstances, with half the maximum persons/load capacity, 50% of maximum O/B power rating may be necessary to put the boat on plane.
