14' Saturn Extra-Wide Inflatable Fishing Micro Skiff FSUP430

  • Dual air-chamber system with two independent chambers in each board for added safety.
  • Reinforced stainless steel motor-mount corners for extra strength and long-term durability.
  • Heat-fused seams, more durable, and more puncture-resistant board.
  • Double layer MSL fusion drop stitch constructions.
  • New attractive hunter green color!

Built from the popular design of the 13' FSUP380, the new Saturn 14' FSUP430 delivers even more space, buoyancy, stability, and carrying capacity. Its larger 14-foot platform comfortably accommodates additional passengers and cargo while the dual-chamber construction — with one air chamber built inside another — adds extra safety and reliability on the water.

At its core, the FSUP430 is an ultra-wide, stable inflatable platform that is easy to stand and walk on. Large enough for two to three people, it can also be turned into a relaxing floating lounge by attaching beach chairs or loungers between the splash guards using optional lashing tie-downs.

Saturn FSUP430 Inflatable Skiff Specs

Designed for fishing and adventure, the FSUP430 comes equipped with pre-installed kayak gear tracks for rod holders, cup holders, and other accessories, plus four mounting patches compatible with both Scotty and Railblaza systems.

A rear motor mount can be attached using the included lashing tie-downs, allowing the FSUP430 to run electric trolling motors or small gas outboards up to 3 HP, transforming it into a compact inflatable micro skiff. Additional forward D-rings also make it easy to install a leaning post or stand-up fishing frame.

One of the best upgrades available is the optional K4 Electric Fin propulsion system, providing smooth and efficient cruising at around 4 mph. The latest K4 version even features convenient remote steering for easier control.

Unlike lightweight inflatable paddle boards commonly sold online, the FSUP430 is built tough with reinforced top and bottom construction, dual air chambers, oversized heavy-duty rub strakes, and added protection throughout. It is designed as a serious heavy-duty fishing inflatable platform with exceptional durability and versatility.

Due to its rugged construction, the FSUP430 weighs approximately 70 lbs. For easier solo transport, an optional kayak cart is highly recommended. Simply secure the cart near the front with bungee cords, grab the rear handles, and pull the board directly from your vehicle to the water. Dual air valves also allow faster inflation and quicker deflation.

IMPORTANT: When using heavier motors, ensure that the motor shaft is firmly resting against the board surface to provide proper support and prevent unnecessary stress on the mounting area. See additional FAQs below this page.

Quick Tip: Use kayak cart to move FSUP430 board around. Place kayak cart under bow area of XFSUP, and secure with bungee cords to D-rings on top of board. Use rear handles to pull XFSUP behind or push forward. Cut out in rear of XFSUP board is perfect for this purpose.

FAQs:

Question: Does trolling motor shaft should touch edge of board when installed on motor mount?

Answer: Yes, this is an intentional design feature to support heavier motors. The motor shaft is meant to rest against the reinforced edge of the FSUP board, which has an added PVC layer to handle the load. Forward thrust of heavier outboard motors creates a lever effect that puts high stress on the motor-mount D-rings, and the shaft contact helps distribute that force. Shaft movement will not damage the heavy-duty fabric under normal use. For easier use, lock the shaft in the forward position and steer with a paddle as a rudder; a tiller-extension handle from Amazon can be used if extra reach is needed.

Question: How can I increase the strength of cam-buckle tie-downs for heavier outboards?

Answer: These simple changes make cam-buckle tie-downs hold much stronger when using 3HP+ outboards.

  • Tie the loose end of the strap into a knot so it cannot slip through the buckle.
  • Run additional straps through the same D-rings to spread the load.
  • If the buckle allows, pass the strap through the cam twice for extra friction.
  • Use optional cam buckles with deeper, hardened teeth for a stronger bite.
  • Switch to optional textured or rubber-thread webbing that grips better than smooth straps.
  • Add a small keeper loop or wrap the tail around the main strap for extra security.
  • Use optional anti-slip rubber under the strap to reduce movement and vibration.
  • Keep straps pulling straight back and avoid sideways angles to reduce slippage.
  • Add a small forward-pulling bungee to reduce shock loads on the buckle.
