Transom Adapter for K4C Electric Fin
Transform your K4C Electric Fin into a convenient electric propulsion system for small transom boats.
This custom-made transom adapter takes advantage of the K4C Electric Fin’s unique wireless remote-steering capability, allowing the fin to be mounted directly to a boat transom. The adapter consists of a durable transom clamp and mounting shaft designed for quick and secure installation.
The bottom of the shaft features a specially designed opening for the plastic slide-in mount included with the K4C Electric Fin. Please note that the plastic slide-in mount is part of the K4C Electric Fin package and is not included with this adapter.
Installation is simple:
- Remove the bolt from the bottom of the adapter shaft.
- Insert the K4C plastic slide-in mount fully into the shaft opening.
- Using the existing hole in the shaft as a guide, drill a matching hole through the plastic mount.
- Reinstall and tighten the bolt to securely lock the mount inside the shaft.
- Attach the K4C Electric Fin, then route the power cable up along the shaft and into the boat for connection to the battery.
Once installed, the K4C Electric Fin provides compact electric propulsion with convenient wireless remote steering—an excellent solution for small inflatable boats, dinghies, tenders, and other lightweight transom boats.
