Powered by your feet! Fun and joy to ride!
Experience the water like never before with the all-new Saturn Inflatable Pedalboard — a fun, affordable, and versatile way to explore lakes, rivers, and bays. Powered by your own feet, this pedalboard blends the excitement of pedal-driven speed with the comfort and practicality of a sit-on-top kayak.
Its sleek, streamlined shape slices through the water with minimal resistance, letting you glide effortlessly at speeds of 3–4 mph. The included fin pedal drive delivers smooth, efficient propulsion, while the secure four D-ring chair system makes it compatible with most standard beach chairs from popular retailers.
For ultimate versatility, remove the pedal drive to use it as a traditional sit-on-top kayak or even a stand-up paddleboard. The patent-pending rotomolded mount keeps the pedal system locked in place, and the included rudder and lever steering kit make maneuvering a breeze.
Inflate to 40–60 kPa for best performance. Each package includes the fin pedal drive, hand pump, and removable fin. Chairs and accessories are sold separately, so you can choose your perfect seating setup — or explore our premium aluminum fishing chairs with built-in umbrella holders.
Turn every trip on the water into an adventure with the Saturn Inflatable Pedalboard — where speed, comfort, and fun meet.
Specifications:
Video of Saturn Pedal Board Prototype.
1. This is NOT a racing kayak.
- Do NOT apply excessive pressure on the pedals to increase speed. Doing so may damage the chains and cables.
- Average kayak speed is 3-4 mph. Overloading with powerful pedal strokes may cause damage, which is not covered by warranty.
2. Pedal Technique:
- Avoid pushing the pedals too fast. Apply steady, light pressure for smooth forward movement.
- A stroke every 2 seconds is sufficient to propel the kayak efficiently.
- Shorter strokes, instead of full-range ones, can also maintain speed.
3. Pedal Drive Locking:
- Ensure the black dot on the pedal well faces backward (towards you). If it's not aligned, deflate the floor section, rotate the rotomolded well part 180 degrees, and re-inflate to fix the unlocking issue.
4. Shallow Water Warning:
- When in shallow waters, prevent the pedal drive fins from hitting the bottom by moving the pedals apart to flatten the fins against the kayak bottom.
5. Carry a Paddle:
- Always bring a paddle as a backup in case of pedal drive issues.
6. Pedal Drive Alignment:
- Ensure the rotomolded insert is aligned straight. Slight movement of the locks during pedaling is normal due to the flexibility of the insert.
7. Safety Gear:
- Always wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD), carry a whistle and communication device, and inform someone of your trip plans.
8. Spare Parts:
- Contact us if you need spare parts. We're happy to assist!
