Two trips on the North Slope with no issues, this raft is perfect for one person hunt in Alaska!

This thing is a hoot. I ran the Moab daily with it Saturday after getting it a few weeks ago. It was a blast. I have had it only on class 2 to class 3 stuff but it handled it all with aplomb. It is a small boat so it will turn fast and can go fast when R2ing. The down side to a small boat is it is easy to fall out of . I plan on adding a few foot cups. I have had it out with 2 adults and 3 kids age 8-12 and it was very full. Saturday we had 1-3 people in it and it was fine.

Very fun to use, really appreciated the really nice packing of the package. When received the box was a bit beat up but everything inside was perfect. I have been using my raft very often and its really good. Well made and it was so cheap.

I am a R1 whitewater rafter from Western Pennsylvania and this boat is IDEAL for soloing! It tracks extremely well, turns on a dime, and surfs like a dream. It's extremely lightweight so it's easy for portaging on micros. The pump it comes with is garbage, but that's certainly no reason to pass up on purchasing this affordable boat. I just altered a pump I already had to fit the Halkey Robertson adapter. Also just beware that the thwarts are a bit close together so it may be tight if you have excessively long legs like me. That did cause me to fall out on my maiden voyage in it which was the Class III+ Stonycreek Canyon. I'm sure I'll adapt to it just fine.

When my son Justin was 10, I took him on a whitewater rafting trip. We both fell in love with it. Since then, we’ve gone on 1 trip together every year. It is some of my favorite days of the year when I get to bond with him on these trips. He’s 16 now, and our love for whitewater rafting is one of the things we still have in common. So last year I decided to buy us an RD290. This little raft is really perfect for our trips. I think it cost me like 1000 bucks after shipping and everything. We used to pay like $600 to rent rafts for a week. I’ve used it twice, and it’s already saved me $200!\r\n\r\n\r\n

I live near a river that is known for its Class III rapids. I’ve gone with friends a few times over the years and always had a great time. I wanted to make it a more regular hobby instead of a twice a year type thing, but I always put it off. Finally, I buckled down and decided that if I made myself take a weekend to do the research and buy myself a boat, I’d have no choice but to go out on the rapids more. I mean, I’m not gonna spend the money and then let the thing sit in my garage. I went on your site, and I ended up buying myself your RD290. Now my friends call me up like every weekend to go rafting. They bring the food and drinks. How can I say no to that?!
