1. Quality Assurance
2. Return Eligibility
IMPORTANT: Returned item should be unused, and exactly in the same condition as you received it from us.
Please carefully inspect the item and make sure you are fully satisfied with your purchase before using it. Once the item has been used, it is considered accepted as inspected and satisfactory in condition. Any issues reported after the item has been used will no longer qualify for return, but may be covered under warranty service as outlined in our Warranty Policy.
NO Returns on boats that were already registered. Please make sure you are satisfied with purchase before going to DMV or Tag agency.
Shipping cartons are designed to protect the product during transit. It is normal for boxes to show signs of handling such as dents, scuffs, tears, or compression during the shipping process. These conditions do not indicate damage to the product inside.
The condition of the outer shipping box is not considered a valid reason for return or refusal of delivery. Returns based solely on damage to the shipping carton will not be accepted. Return eligibility applies only to the actual product condition in accordance with our Return Policy.
Customers should open and inspect the product after delivery. If the product itself is damaged, please report it in accordance with our Shipping and Return procedures.
If an item or component is damaged during shipping, the damaged merchandise must be returned to BoatsToGo using the return shipping label provided by us. Due to the value of our products, replacement merchandise will be shipped after the returned item has been received and inspected to verify the reported damage and confirm that all original components, parts, and accessories are present. In certain cases, at our discretion, BoatsToGo may provide replacement parts or another resolution without requiring the damaged merchandise to be returned.
Some products are shipped in multiple boxes or consist of multiple separate components. If only one box, component, or part of the shipment is damaged during transit, BoatsToGo will treat the issue as a shipping damage claim for the affected portion of the order.
BoatsToGo may file a damage claim with the shipping carrier and provide a replacement for the damaged component at no cost to the customer. When return of the damaged component is required, BoatsToGo will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Replacement merchandise may be shipped after the damaged component has been received and inspected to confirm the reported damage and that all applicable parts are present.
Damage to one component or package does not automatically make the undamaged portions of the shipment eligible for free return.
If BoatsToGo offers to replace the damaged component at no cost, but the customer instead chooses to return the entire product or complete order, the undamaged components will be considered a standard customer return and will be subject to our regular Return Policy. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs for the undamaged merchandise, and the original shipping charges are non-refundable.
BoatsToGo will remain responsible for resolving the documented shipping damage to the affected component in accordance with our Shipping Damage Policy.
Orders containing multiple products or accessories may occasionally be partially fulfilled due to inventory shortages, quality-control issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In some cases, these issues may be discovered after an order has been shipped or delivered.
If an item cannot be fulfilled, BoatsToGo will issue a refund for the unavailable merchandise, including any shipping charges attributable to that item, in accordance with applicable law.
The unavailability of one or more items, regardless of when the customer is notified, does not automatically make other correctly delivered merchandise eligible for a full-order refund or free return shipping.
Customers wishing to return delivered merchandise are generally subject to our standard Return Policy, including product condition requirements, return authorization, customer-paid return shipping, and nonrefundable actual outbound shipping costs, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Product substitutions or alternative arrangements are subject to availability and approval by BoatsToGo. Orders sold as inseparable packages may be subject to different requirements under applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights.

QUESTION: Your return policy says only unused items can be returned. How can I be sure I’m happy with the item without using it?
ANSWER: We understand you may want to test the item before making a final decision. You may do so if necessary, but it is your responsibility to return it in brand new condition. This means removing all signs of use, such as dirt, footprints, sand, dust, or water residue. The item should be completely dry, clean, and repacked exactly as it was received.
When we inspect the return, it must look and function as brand new so the next customer can enjoy it without any loss in value. If the item cannot be restored to brand new condition, a restocking fee will apply, and it will be resold at a discount on our Clearance page.
To process an exchange, the original item must first be returned and inspected. Returned items must be in brand new or near-brand-new condition.
After inspection:
The issued credit can be applied toward the purchase of another item. If the new item’s price is higher than the credit amount, the difference must be paid separately.
It is standard industry practice for inflatable boats—as well as vehicles and other marine products—to be manufactured one or more years prior to their retail sale. Production is typically completed in scheduled batches, followed by periods of storage, distribution, and logistics that may extend over several months or years.
As a result, a product may display a manufacturing date from a prior calendar year while still being sold as new, unused merchandise. Across both the marine and automotive industries, the manufacturing date does not affect a product’s new status, performance characteristics, or warranty eligibility.
Warranty coverage begins at the time of sale, not at the time of manufacture, and this timing does not diminish any rights or protections afforded to the purchaser.
IMPORTANT: An earlier manufacturing date does not constitute a defect and is not considered a valid basis for requesting a full refund or product return.
