This item was returned by the original customer after the steering mechanism seized and stopped working. The unit has been refurbished with the steering function permanently disabled.
The electric fin still provides reliable forward propulsion at speeds of approximately 4 mph, making it well suited for inflatable paddle boards, kayaks, and similar watercraft. Direction can be easily controlled with a kayak paddle or by lightly using your foot in the water to steer.
The battery is also imperfect and displays approximately 89–90% charge at full capacity on the remote display. One battery cell may be underperforming, but the battery can still provide approximately 1 hour of operation at full speed, depending on conditions.
Although this unit is sold as imperfect, it remains a practical and affordable solution for recreational propulsion.
