Prototype of Semi Rigid Inflatable Boat with extra deep V-keel.
Like new condition – used only once on the water, then fully cleaned and carefully repackaged.
Field Tester Opportunity – Earn $750 Back. That is $749 after rebate!
This prototype boat was developed to test the Aerotec-style deep V-keel inflatable floor. During our first trial with a 12HP short-shaft outboard, it became clear that the boat requires a 15–25HP long-shaft motor for proper performance.
Since we don’t currently have the right motor on hand, we’re looking for a field tester. If you purchase this boat and provide us with a simple performance report and video using a long-shaft motor, we’ll send you a $700 refund off the selling price.
A perfect opportunity for someone with the right motor to own a next-generation deep-V inflatable and be among the first to test its full potential.
Based on the legendary Bombard Aerotec semi-rigid deep-V keel design, this prototype takes inflatable boat performance to the next level. Engineered with three advanced drop-stitch floors—two angled sections forming the V-keel and an optional flat top floor—it offers unmatched versatility. Use it with the top floor for traditional seating, or without it for a sportier setup where you sit on the tube with your feet braced against the angled keel.
Why Choose This Aerotec-Style Deep V-Keel Boat?
High-Performance Deep-V Inflatable Floor
The heart of this boat is its inflatable high-pressure deep-V floor, delivering performance and handling on par with a rigid hull RIB—especially at speed. Made from thousands of polyester cross-stitches, it’s rock-solid underfoot while staying far lighter than solid floorboards.
Portable & Travel-Ready
Deflates and folds down to fit easily in the trunk of your car. Perfect for spontaneous adventures—no trailer needed.
Lightweight & Easy to Handle
Far lighter than comparable RIBs, this boat can be launched, retrieved, and even carried single-handedly. With optional launching wheels, setup is effortless.
Big on Capacity, Small on Weight
Carries up to 6–8 people with ease. Even with four adults and just a modest 15hp outboard, the boat planes quickly and efficiently.
Fast Setup & Pack-Down
Inflate, launch, deflate, and pack it away in under 15 minutes—even solo. Spend more time on the water and less on preparation.
Durable & Practical Design
Built with heavy-duty fabric, reinforced seams, and a rugged keel protector, this boat is made to last. Unlike fiberglass hulls, the inflatable floor is both rigid and repairable.
Versatile for All Adventures
Perfect for beach outings, coastal exploring, fishing trips, tender duty, or even light rescue use.
Equipment included: aluminum oars, hand pump, 2 seats, carry bag
Optional accessories available to customize your boat for any adventure.

Quick Tip! Worried about the heavy weight of a hard floored boat? Don't break your back! Get a foldable hand cart from any retail store to carry the folded boat around. Even inexpensive dolly movers will work great for transporting a folded or fully inflated boat. Get dinghy dolly wheels to easily move the inflated boat across the shore and into the water.

Note: Specifications and accessories are subject to change without notice. Max O/B Motor means: maximum power of outboard motor that can be safely used to ride the boat loaded to the maximum capacity at normal water surface conditions. Please exercise common sense and caution when using maximum motor capacity. Do not jump from wave to wave as new 4-stroke motors are much heavier then 2-stroke and provide extra strain on the transom. Under normal circumstances, with half the maximum persons/load capacity, 50% of maximum O/B power rating may be necessary to put the boat on plane.
