This is a basic, flat bottom, no frills inflatable boat.

Quick Tip: How to Install Optional Keel: 

This boat is designed with a flat bottom, but you can add a simple DIY keel to improve tracking and stability by placing a semi-rigid insert under the air floor. Deflate the air floor, position a long object along the centerline, then reinstall and inflate the floor to hold it in place. There are two Velcro straps under the air floor designed to secure this insert. The easiest option is a large foam pool noodle (about $3 at Walmart or Target), which can be strapped in place and will act like a keel once the floor is inflated. For more rigidity, you can insert a PVC pipe inside the noodle before installing it.
