13' Frameless Inflatable Cataraft Catamaran.

New, longer frameless pontoon inflatable cataraft CR385 great for whitewater rivers up to Class IV. Simple design, with two inflatable pontoons spread apart by two inflatable built-in perpendicular air chambers. Distance from ground to bottom of thwarts about 2'. That leaves enough space to take along most white water rivers, up to Class IV. Heavy duty, wide rub strake protects bottom of tubes from sharp rocks. D-rings on sides of tubes can be used to attach rowing frame.

Set of round holes in a bottom of inflatable cataraft floor, to let water quickly bail out. CR385 cataraft comes with 80 mm drop stitch floor, that can be removed if needed. Bottom made of extra heavy-duty 1.5 mm PVC. More holes can be cut in bottom if needed. CR385 cataraft can be used with or without drop stitch floor.

  • Rafts tubes are made of heavy-duty 1,100 Dtex High Strength PVC fabric coated on both side with 1100 g/m2, 0.9 mm.

I recently had the pleasure of navigating the 13' Frameless Cataraft CR385 on a thrilling journey through challenging whitewater rivers. This cataraft's simple yet effective design, with inflatable pontoons and built-in air chambers, provided exceptional stability and control, even on Class IV rapids. The CR385 Cataraft is versatile and rugged. It easily navigates through Class IV white water rivers, and the round holes effectively prevent flooding. The wide rub strake protects the bottom of the tubes, and the thick PVC fabric ensures durability.

The 80 mm drop-stitch high-pressure air deck floor can be removed when necessary, providing flexibility. The raft also includes a repair kit, carry bag, and hand pump, which are all extremely handy. I have used the raft multiple times now, and it has proven its worth every time.

I wasn't expecting much from the 13' Frameless Cataraft CR385, but it surprised me in a good way. It's definitely better than a cheap kayak toy. I'm happy with my choice.

During my recent whitewater expedition with the Inflatable Cataraft, I encountered a few drawbacks that didn't overshadow its positive attributes. The cataraft's inflatable pontoons and built-in air chambers offered decent stability and control, making it suitable for moderate whitewater up to Class IV. However, I found the heavy-duty PVC fabric, although puncture-resistant, to be less durable than anticipated, especially when navigating rocky sections. The self-bailing system, although effective, required occasional attention to ensure optimal performance. Despite these limitations, the CR385's compact and portable design, along with its versatility, makes it a viable option.

Surprisingly, the 13' Frameless Cataraft CR385 exceeded my expectations. I was initially skeptical, but it turned out to be much better than a cheap kayak toy. I'm pleased with it.

I'm thrilled with the versatility of the CR385 frameless cataraft. Its simple yet effective design, featuring inflatable pontoons and built-in perpendicular air chambers, provides excellent stability and maneuverability. The heavy-duty rub strake protects the bottom of the tubes from any potential damage caused by rocks, giving me peace of mind during my white water excursions. Whether I'm rowing or floating along, the CR385 never fails to impress with its performance and reliability. Don't miss out on this incredible cataraft!
