9.6' Slate Floor Budget Light Boats LB290

Manufacturer sample of new, slatted floor inflatable boat. 

Small 12" dia tubes, built in wooden slated floor boards. Great for use with electric trolling motor or small outboard engine. This is small boat, best to use by 1 person on a lake, pond or river. Can be used as small dinghy or fishing boat on a pond. This is inexpensive, easy to inflate and use boat. It comes with 1 bench only. To row with oars, either need to push oars forward, or sit backward on a floor. Can place throwable PFD as a cushion while rowing. Boat would work nice with electric trolling motor. But, this is very simple boat, with small tubes, no keel, no 2nd layers, etc. This is not a high performance sport model. We recommend placing foam mats over bottom, to cover slated floor, and  make movement inside boat easier.

• Question: What makes this boat cheaper than other Saturn Boats of similar size?
• Answer: While this boat is made by same factory, and from same fabric as all other Saturn boats, this boat model does represent barre minimum, with smaller 12" tube diameters, more narrow hull, no inflatable keel and no additional layers on bottom of tubes. This is a basic, flat bottom, no frills inflatable boat. It has slated floor instead of drop stitch.
