The 18" tubes put you high up on the water and minimize the surface area which makes for one nimble cat that can spin on a dime and easily track a tight line through a narrow rock garden. It's very stable and drafts extremely shallow. With a load capacity starting at 750 lbs and
up, these cats can play with the best of them but can also pack a load.
The Saturn Catarafts are perfect size. They are extremely manageable whether you're shooting tight rivers or riding high in Class V whitewater.
All of our new 2010 model Catarafts come standard with extra chafe protection on the top tubes along with an
additional second layer covering the bottom surface area of each tube. The 0.9mm PVC tubes and additional protection layers make it one of the toughest on the market today. Each
tube has 2 chambers for added protection, well placed exterior valves for easy
inflation.
This is a Do-It-Yourself Tube Kit for Whitewater River
Cataraft or Fishing Pontoon Boat. This kit consists of set of 2(two) heavy-duty
0.9mm PVC tubes, sets of 20 D-rings, 4 plastic handles and 10 tubes of PVC glue
for attachment of all
necessary parts to the tubes as per your custom specifications.
Design your own Fishing Pontoon Boat or River Cataraft using our high-quality Cataraft tubes. You will need to get your own Cataraft frame, which can be either assembled out of galvanized pipes sold in Home Depot, ordered at any aluminum welding shop near you, or purchased on-line at retailer of your choice. After frame is assembled, and positioned, you will glue D-rings any way you find it to be most appropriate per your design. Add handles if necessary. Please note that this is a DIY project, and we do not provide any recommendations or suggestions for this matter. There are plenty information on the Internet describing how to build Catarafts or Fishing Pontoons or you can visit our dealer Saturn Rafts to order ready-to-use frames.
- Heavy duty 1,100 Dtex High Strength PVC fabric coated on both side with 1100 g/m2, 0.9mm. Fabric is thick, puncture proof and abrasion resistant.
- Industry standard Halkey-Roberts flat valves design.
