Inflatable Sail Board.
Our new Saturn Sail Board offers the pleasure of sailing without much experience and at a budget price! Anyone can easily sail this board, no experience necessary. Just sit across the board, with your back facing the wind and you are ready to go. Use an aluminum oar as a rudder, and if you need to change direction, simply move to the opposite side of the board, and row with the oar to point the bow toward the direction you want to go.
It is as much fun and about the same speed as windsurfing, but without falling in the water and with much more comfort and relaxation than standing. Plus, you can always stop, drop anchor and go for a swim or lay down and sunbathe.
The sail board is made of high-pressure 1100 denier drop-stitch PVC fabric that once inflated, becomes as hard as rock. The sail board inflatable hull can take up to 12psi of air pressure, or 70kpa. That is the same materials used for our best-selling Saturn inflatable paddle boards.
The Saturn sail board is very stable. You can even ride it over the beach surf and it will handle it. You can also stand up if you need to reach the mast. In fact, this sail board is even great for water sport activity on the beach on a windy day! Even if it overturned, which is not easy, you can swim around, and pull down on the raised side to lift the sail out of the water.
What makes this product unique, is a built in round mast opening, and 4 large directional fins glued to the bottom, which act as a sail boat keel. No complex assembly needed. Just unroll the sail board, pump it about 20% to keep its shape, insert the mast support into the hole and keep pumping until the fabric surface is hard to the touch. The mast support will get squeezed tight into the hole, once board is fully inflated.
Sail assembly will take only a couple of minutes with a short learning curve. Then all you need is sail breeze up to a maximum of 15mp/h and a sunny warm day. But, prepare to get wet. Users can sit directly on the board, or place an inexpensive low profile beach chair and travel in comfort.

Notes: 2 D-rings at the rear of sail board can be used to attach mainsheet (rope attached to lower boom) with carabiner to adjust sail angle. Or, you can run optional rope in between 2 rear D-rings, and attach mainsheet to that rope with carabiner. |
