Central Consoles for Inflatable Boats.

Central Console for inflatable boats based on adjustable aluminum frame-seating platform.
Central console will take riding comfort to the next
level and will put you in a total control over your boat. It is like riding
in a car compare to riding bicycle.
After trying this new system, you’ll never go back to a regular plywood bench.
Due to the fact that this system is mounted to the floor and not to the boat tubes, vibration and bumps during a choppy ride are significantly reduced.
 Assembly
of complete steering console system including installation of rotary steering
control is easy to do-it-yourself project. Or you can take it to the local
marine mechanic to finish. Rotary steering systems are available on-line and retail marine stores
for around $120 to $180. We recommend Teleflex Rotary Steering System with cable
10'-14'. You will also need adaptor specific to your outboard engine to accept
flex cable and to turn engine left or righ.
 Optional
throttle consol box can be attached to the aluminum tube. However, throttle
control box is optional, because it is very easy to change outboard engine speed
just by using tiller handle. See pictures and videos below. 90% of the
riding time, you will be riding with same speed. You only need to change
throttle or put in a reverse when you are leaving or coming to the dock, beach,
etc. And it can be very easy
done just with a tiller handle of outboard engine with a little bit of training.
You can always stop engine by pulling lanyard line or pressing stop button on a tiller handle.
| Holes in the aluminum frames are designed to match 7" economy boat seat pedestals
that are sold in many retail stores such as Kmart, Wal-Mart and Outdoor
World. A swivel base and boat fishing chair with back support can easily be installed on top of the boat seat pedestal. These items are also available in the retail outlets mentioned above. |

An Economy boat seat pedestal retails for around $12, a swivel base costs $8, and fishing chair prices can vary depending on comfort level from $20 to $45. You also will need stainless steel mounting hardware. Bolts with round heads should be inserted in the frame from the bottom up, so that the round head of the bolt touches, but does not scratch the floor.
The adjustable aluminum frame can fit any size boat from SD330 to SD430 and many other brands of boats on the market. It will work with air deck or hard deck boats.
Frame will extend from 31" to 44", fitting most boats with interior
width between that sizes.

The installation of frame is simple. First, deflate the tubes and simply place the platform inside the boat.
 Then, push the adjustable components away from each other until the outer sides of the aluminum frame tubes touch the inside of the boat tubes. Finally, tighten the screws and inflate boat tubes to squeeze the seating platform between the boat tubes. For boats with plywood floors, the platform will rest
on the stringers.
PLEASE NOTE: boat chair pedestal, swivel
platform, chair and hardware are not included, but can be purchased separately
at many retail stores. Rotary steering systems are sold separately in many
marine stores including West Marine and on-line. Included is Central Console Frame
