Support poles of this bimini tops designed in such specific way to allow paddling or rowing with a canopy installed. This canopy will not protect form side sun or windy rain, but it will prevent your from scorching heat with a sun right above your head. To protect from side sun, you will need to drop towel or shirt over bimini edge to make extra shade.

These Sun/Rain Canopies come in light gray color and very easy to install. It keeps you cool and protected from the harmful UV rays of the sun and unexpected rain. The 600 deniers PVC Coated polyester canopy and folding aluminum tubing. Fits most kayaks, canoes and any other small watercrafts with width 21" to 36" in between points where support hardware need to be installed. Ends of support poles can be pushed together as close as 21" or pull apart as far as 36".

Bimini Top for kayaks, canoes and KaBoats comes with all necessary stainless-steel mounting hardware necessary for quick installation. If drilling of watercraft  surface to install support jaw is not an option, then support poles mounting jaws can be removed, and end of support poles can be attached directly to the mounting points of your choice with plastic cable ties sold in any hardware store. 

In some instances, it might be possible to secure mounting jaws with a piece of industrial-stench Velcro tape glued to the bottom of both support jaws and place on watercraft where you want to attach sun canopies. Using Velcro will allow quick assembly/disassembly of sun canopy when such application is required. Bimini tent can be lowered by cutting support poles slightly shorter and re-installing mounting hardware as an easy DIY project. 

These bimini tops come with unique mounting jaws which can be installed on any type of surface. In can be mounted on vertical, horizontal, angled or even round surfaces. Also, snap-n-go bimini top poles are breeze to install and remove. Canopy can be folded to the back or in front, and even used as down wind sail.

It is possible to lower canopy top to provide better shade coverage by cutting support poles with a metal saw slightly shorter, and then re-installing mounting hardware back into the pole using 2 screws with a bolts (not included). This is very easy to do DIY project.
