The 14 feet SD430 is a heavy-duty inflatable workboat, great for water rescue, diving or day trips.

New Model V3.0 - German Heytex PVC, Heat Welded Seams, Fiberglass Covered Transom, Premium Quality.

SATURN SD430 boats have been used by many Fire Rescue and Emergency Departments across the country. It is much larger than our new SD415 boats, because it has larger 20" tubes, and it much wider inside. It also comes with aluminum floor instead of air deck. Overall, it is bigger boat than SD415.

14' SATURN SD430 inflatable boats are made with premium quality materials, and can handle up to a maximum of 7 persons. Heavy-duty SD430 takes up to a maximum 40 HP outboard motor, but will run nicely with a 25 HP motor. As reported by our customers, even with a 15 HP outboard motor and 2 people this boat can plane nice and easy.

Saturn SD430 inflatable boat specifications

Our inflatable boats are made of 1100 denier German Heytex PVC fabric with polyester support that has excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking. It is a much more heavy-duty PVC fabric than most of our competitors with 1000 denier PVC boats.

Deflated, the SD430 boat will fold to the size of one large bag with tubes and another large flat bag with a floor. Once deflated and folded, the SD430 can be stored in the back of your SUV or minivan or in a large closet of your apartment. Bag with deflated and packed boat can be easily carried around with a foldable hand cart. Inflated boat can be easily transported with help of our removable dinghy wheels that are attached to the transom.

Double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand. The safety valve will prevent excessive air pressure in the boats chambers.

Saturn inflatable boats now come standard with a 5 section heavy-duty aluminum floor instead of plywood. Floor installation steps are here.

Note: Specifications and accessories are subject to change without notice. Max O/B Motor means: maximum power of outboard motor that can be safely used to plane the boat loaded to the maximum capacity at normal water surface conditions. Please exercise common sense and caution when using maximum motor capacity. Do not jump from wave to wave as new 4-stroke motors are much heavier then 2-stroke and provide extra strain on the transom. Under normal circumstances, with half the maximum persons/load capacity, 50% of maximum O/B power rating may be necessary to put boat on plane.

Just took out my new SD430 and love this boat. I put a Honda 20HP motor on it and it performed awesome with three people on board. I would recommend this boat to anyone looking for a nice inflatable.

I really love the Saturn 14-ft SD430 very easy to set up very good quality would really love if they had the option between the heart floor and the inflatable floor for this size boat.

Hi BoatsToGo! I received my boat yesterday and here are my impressions. I'm pleased with the apparent quality of the SD430. The tubes are larger diameter than even most of the Zodiacs and Avons that I've seen... I like that! It's really larger than I'd envisioned and appears very well made. All seams are neatly glued and the boat appears very rugged.

Great, special y relaxing

I bought a 14' boat in 2014 and love it. I have two problems, however. I had to rebuild the stern floor section and reinforce it as it broke due to the tension of walking on it on rough seas while it was resting on the keel. I simply bolted a half inch plywood sheet on the back of that section. I also had to extend the stern by attaching a 2x4 to the base so the floor board would lock in place under it. I salmon fish in Valdez Alaska and love it. My modifications make it much more reliable and useful. My second problem is more limiting. Both ends of the pump, the two little ears that lock the pump hose into the raft and the pump all broke off this year. I was able to jury rig a way to keep my boat inflated, but now all four ears are gone. It is impossible to find the proper end fittings that fit the hose, pump, and boat valves. I contacted the Boise Idaho dealer, who says he is the only dealer in the US and he gave me part numbers that gave me a valve connector that would not fit either the pump hose end or the boat valves. I know you folks show a pump, for the current version of the boat, which looks like mine, but I have no idea if it will fit my boat. Can anyone out there help me get new pump hose ends?

I got the Triton 14’ model and it is truly amazing. I have a 20hp 4 stroke mercury and it flies. Easy launching and loading. Fun for the whole family. Very durable and safe with young children.

First things first....WOW After much research and testimonials.Yes I bought the Saturn 14 SD480 and all the accessories to go with it from the wheels/Bimini top/black seat covers with storage.. this item is Awesome also got the battery operating pump super awesome...in a week I will get the motor. I will say that everything shipped to me was in great condition. I was so pleased to see how well everything come with it’s owe storage. After just once contacting the sales department on a question which the response was quick was I impressed. Iam a retail store manger for 20 years I give Saturn a thumbs up all the way, highly recommend, thank you can’t wait to hit the river!

Its good boat, very comfortable and fast. I will recommend.

My impression of the boat is very positive, I currently have a Mark II Zodiac brands (14 feet) and this boat is at least as solid and robust as the Zodiac brands

Okay, it's been two years since I purchased my SD430, the 14 foot inflatable boat. The first year I had it, I worried because I didn't have a trailer and couldn't afford one. I was worried that once I got to put it in the water I'd have problems and the warranty would be expired or something. At this price, I expected lesser quality inflatable boat than a actually got. After opening and inflating the boat, I folded it back up and put it in the basement while I saved some more $$$. I got my trailer at the beginning of last summer (the following year) and had the boat in the water for fishing or just running about just about every weekend last year.\r\n\r\nI have a used 25 hp Mercury outboard with an unknown number of hours in case you're interested. I must say that the inflatable boat handles quite well. It's my first boat so I admit that I don't have anything to compare it with but it's quite comfortable and it feels safe to me. I use two igloo coolers at seats, one mounted at the stern to the right side and the other (about 2 feet) closer to the bow on the left side. With a couple of rod holders mounted to the transom, I'm in the water. Actually I just ordered your seat frame so I'll be using that with a basic seat at the stern this year.\r\n\r\nTrue Story: I was running hard, throttle wide open, back from my fishing spot my brother-in-law in the front of the boat so I didn't see a 3 foot long stick that appears to have been stuck vertically in the mud at the bottom of the water. I'd seen it on the way out but not on the way back in. I guess someone put it there to mark something. It resembled a ferring strip with a rectangular profile and no point. My brother-in-law tried to yell but it was too late. I hit that stick head-on and heard (and felt) it loud and clear, "BAMM". The boat felt like it hit a rock from where I was sitting. I just KNEW that I had torn the boat from front to back along the bottom. When I pulled the boat out of the water I looked at the bottom and saw absolutely nothing!!! After it dried there was actually a mark about 5 feet long (looked like faded white chalk because the stick was painted white) where the stick hit the bottom but no tear, not even a dimple. AWESOME!\r\n\r\nI also must tell you that I'm impressed with how robust this inflatable boat is. It seems that most manufacturers offer 18 inch tubes on a boat this size where the sd430 has 20's...lovely! It did raise the bow rather extremely upon taking off but I grabbed a couple of those lifters advertised on your accessories page and that was the end of that. It now barely lifts the bow when taking off at all. I'm anxious to see how the new seating feels but it's February and I have a couple of months to go before I put it back in the water. Engine needs tune up too. I'll send pics after I get the seating installed and coolers repositioned. I also plan to grab a canopy this year.\r\n\r\nLOTS AND LOTS OF FUN!!! THANKS! This was a great deal! I only wish you had the tunnel speed boats at the time I purchased as I would have gotten that instead. It really looks hot and if the quality is comparable to the sd430, it'd be well worth it. Does it come in an 18 or 20? If so, I think they'd sell well. I'd get one!
